PRODUCTIVITY CHALLENGE WORKSHOP SERIES:  DESIGNING CITIZEN-CENTERED PUBLIC SERVICE

Course Overview

The Productivity Challenge Workshop Series: Designing Citizen-Centered Public Service (DCCPS) is a hybrid training program where the participants will go through three phases: Upskilling, Pitching and Pilot-implementation ensuring that their outputs commit to the reduction of service transaction hours and contribute to this year’s challenge, the 2024 Fastbreak: 100K Transaction Hours Reduced.

It incorporates the tools and methodologies of design thinking, service design, and design sprints through a holistic manner by analyzing client feedback and making the necessary changes to work processes, infrastructure, and channels to deliver value to the client.

Objectives
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
    ✔ Demonstrate an in-depth understanding about the principles and concepts of designing a citizen centered public service.
   ✔ Learn the key steps and tools for designing services around the client’s needs and expectations.
   ✔ Design and implement a process improvement project to contribute to the productivity challenge.

Target Participants

The DCCPS is designed to guide participants from National Government Agencies, State Universities and Colleges, Local Government units, Government-Owned and Controlled Corporations, Bureaus and attached agencies in conceptualizing and implementing process improvement initiatives.
